Besides the standard vacation periods, SchoolCal is able to create Events for any number of different school-oriented functions. On your first launch, you will find Early Dismissal, No School, and Late Arrival. You can add as many Event Titles as you wish by selecting Create New Event Title, the bottom selection of the Event Title popup button:

That choice brings up this window:

As previously mentioned, you can add as many Event Titles that you want, but at this time, you cannot delete any. You can, however, edit the name of any Event Title.
You add dates for the Event selected in the popup by selecting the proper date in the mini-calendar, and then clicking the Add Date to List button. Upon initial launch, the mini-calendar defaults to September 15 of the Default Year. The little arrows to the left of the month name in the mini-calendar will move the active month backward and forward. Whichever date is highlighted in the mini-calendar is added to the Date List table when the Add Date to List button is clicked. The highlight then advances one day for your convenience.
If you need to remove a date (or dates) from the Date List, highlight the one(s) you want erased, and click Delete Selected Date(s):
You can add Event Titles, edit their names, and add dates to their respective lists in any order you wish, monitoring your progress in the Text Field Preview. SchoolCal tracks every change, yet keeps your work clean, organized, and secure. You can work on this section of building your dates in multiple sessions if you like; nothing is lost when you switch tabs, edit the Event Titles, or even close the app.
At this time, changed the Default Year does NOT affect any of the dates generated on this tab. Be sure that the school year you are working on is correct before creating any dates here.
All the dates in this section ARE deleted when you finally click Done - Send to iCal on the the Main Tab, but the Event Titles are all preserved.
