Entering Event Information

Event Info

Type the title of your Event in the top box, labeled Event Title (this is required); OddCal will not write Events to iCal when this field is blank. If you would like to specify a location, that goes in the second box, but this is optional. Location information is preserved between launches by default (this behavior can be altered in Preferences); it does not automatically disappear (as the Event Title does) when you quit the application.

There are individual buttons for adding sequential numbering to your Event Titles, as well as adding or editing a Note to be written to your Events.

Launching OddCal will always highlight the current date on the mini-calendar. You can navigate either forward or backward in time, by clicking on the arrows located in the upper left corner of the mini-calendar.

Start and End times can be adjusted to whatever you want, and these times will be applied to every Event that is in the Date List. (You can set defaults for these values in Preferences.) Times can be adjusted at any point during your workflow, they are not assigned to the dates in the Date List until you are finished, and click Done. The default interval specified in Preferences is locked to the Starting Time, i.e., whenever you change the Starting Time, the End Time will also change to reflect that interval. However, the Starting Time is NOT locked to the End Time; you can always change the End Time without affecting the Start Time.

If you want your Events written as All Day Events, just check the box labeled All Day. This will de-activate the Start and End time pickers:
