The top item allows you to set the default interval between the Begin and End dates (located on the Date(s) Tab). The value indicates number of months, calculated from the Begin Date. You can only use whole numbers at this time, and a maximum interval of 48 months. (Four years [48 months] is the maximum iCal search range determined by Apple, not by me.)
The second item is a checkbox that instructs CalEventer to always reset the checkboxes on the Weekdays Tab when the application terminates. If the box is unchecked, then any weekdays unchecked when you quit will remain unchecked upon your next launch.
The bottom portion of the window is devoted to designating how you would like your Event Data to appear in the Event Preview Window. This section relies heavily upon your own Font Book, and how your fonts are organized therein. (See especially the section entitled: Organize fonts as collections in the Font Book link.)
In the Event Preview Window, each Date has one or more Events listed underneath, and you can select a different font, font size, and font color for both your Date and your Event Information.
In the bottom right corner of CalEventer Preferences, you use the top popup menu to select a particular collection of fonts from your Font Book:
Once you have chosen a collection, you use the second popup menu to pick a particular font from that collection:
Whenever you choose a font, the sample text window shows what the font looks like. You can also change the font size and see that change reflected in the sample window:
When you have a font and size you like, click either of the Update Date Font or Update Details Font buttons, and you can then select the color for each by clicking on their individual color wells:
